Accrington Stanley have appealed against the red card that was shown to Farrend Rawson during Saturday's defeat at Lincoln.
Centre-back Rawson was dismissed in the 45th minute at Sincil Bank, after a penalty was awarded to the home side by referee Seb Stockbridge.
Stanley went on to lose the match 2-0.
"I have to appeal it," said manager John Coleman during his post-match press conference. "It was the crucial turning point and it decided the outcome of the game."
The official website will have news of the appeal once the club has received it.
