Stanley loan Brighton duo

4 August 2017

Accrington Stanley have completed the double loan signing of Brighton & Hove Albion defenders Tyler Forbes and Tom Dallison until January.

Forbes 21, is a right-back and came through the youth team ranks at Preston North End, before joining Fleetwood Town, making 38 appearances at Highbury and scoring two goals.

He then joined Brighton in July 2016 for an undisclosed fee and linked up with the development squad at the Amex Stadium.

Dallison, also 21, is a central-defender and spent his youth career playing at West Ham United and Arsenal before signing a professional contract with Brighton in 2013, after an impressive spell as a trialist.

He spent the first half of last season on loan at Cambridge United, making five appearances in League Two.

"I'm delighted to join," said Forbes. "My aim is to come here, do the right stuff in training and hopefully get the chance to play football week in, week out. Accrington is a great club to come and progress.

"I'm a local lad, I only live 20 minutes away and I've played a lot of my football in this area. I've played at the Wham Stadium before but I'm looking forward to getting out there in front of the fans and showing them what I'm all about."

"I'm pleased to get the deal done," added Dallison. "I'm looking forward to linking up with my team mates and helping Accrington Stanley push for promotion."
