Defender Matty Pearson has today signed for Barnsley.
Pearson moves to Oakwell for an undisclosed fee, but one that is a club-record for Stanley.
The 24-year-old made 51 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring nine goals, including a famous extra-time winner in the EFL Cup victory over Premier League Burnley.
Pearson, who joined from Halifax Town back in 2013, has been the target for a number of clubs this summer and the Championship outfit have managed to secure his services.
