Stanley manager John Coleman has praised two 'brilliant' results so far - but knows Yeovil will provide a stern test.
The Reds opened their Sky Bet League Two campaign with a 3-1 win over Colchester before beating Championship Preston 3-2 in the Carabao Cup spectacular fashion on Tuesday night.
But Coleman insists it's important his squad bring themselves back down to earth ahead of Saturday's trip to Yeovil.
“It's been a really pleasing opening week to the season,” he said. “Two brilliant results and overall the performances have been near to what we want.
“We stuck to the way we play our football over both games, trying to dominate the opposition and create chances, that was never going to be easy against a side like Preston but I was happy with the way we approached it.
“It's easy to get carried away with the euphoria from a big result like Tuesday, I woke up Wednesday morning and I was still buzzing.
“But you have to come back down to earth and you have to make sure you bring yourself back down, we can't let somebody else do that, most notably an opposition team.”
Saturday's opponents head into the game off the back of a very different opening week, an 8-2 defeat at Luton last Saturday before being knocked out of the Carabao Cup at Wolves.
But the Stanley boss knows that The Glovers will be a different proposition come Saturday afternoon.
“It's easy to look at and get carried away with the Yeovil result,” said Coleman. “But I've managed a team who have lost 8-2 in League Two and we actually went out the following week and won 2-0.
“We're expecting a backlash and we've got to make sure we're prepared for it, I'm hoping they don't have the same reaction as I did.
“It's their first home game of the season so that's always a big occasion anyway, we'll look at what they do and how we can expose their weaknesses within our style of football.”
It's been a tough start to the season with two games in quick succession but Coleman says his squad have emerged unscathed.
“Janoi (Donacien) was left out as a precaution on Tuesday night,” he added. “He'll be training the next couple of days and he'll be in the squad for Saturday. Some of the performances on Tuesday have given me a lot to think about.”
