John Coleman admits Stanley ‘need to find a way to win' as they travel to Notts County on Saturday.
The Reds have won one league game this season – on the opening day of the campaign against Doncaster.
But Coleman believes the next three points are just around the corner as his new look team gel.
“We need to find a way to win in the league,” said Coleman. “The players are gradually getting to know each other and we have got to accentuate our good points and brush up on the negatives.
“You only have to look at the goal Carlisle scored on Saturday – they will think it's a good goal which their lad bent in from 20 yards but he has run past four players to get the ball which is horrendous from our point of view.
“We have to iron it out and show that we have to be aware each aspect of the game can cost us points.”
Coleman is sure his Stanley side will get it right soon and when they do, teams need to beware.
“It is a team game and sometimes one player's level of performance is directly linked to someone else's. One can be playing well but it will count for nothing if you are dragged down as someone isn't doing their job.
“Everyone knows what jobs they have got to do and when we do click, we could give someone a battering.
“We showed on Saturday, with Billy Kee's goal, that when we click and pass the ball quickly we can give anyone a game.
“We have though conceded silly goals this season and this has got to stop first and foremost. But sometimes you have to get through the hard times to make the good times even sweeter when it comes right.”
