Two-match ban for Coley

11 November 2016

Accrington Stanley manager John Coleman has been given an immediate two-match ban after being charged with misconduct in relation to the game against Crawley Town on 22nd October.

It was alleged that he committed two breaches of FA Rule E3, specifically that he used abusive and/or insulting words towards a Match Official in or around the tunnel area at half time and that his conduct in returning to the technical area following his dismissal was improper.

Mr Coleman admitted breach one and denied breach two. Following an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing, breach two was found proven resulting in the ban, a £750 fine and a warning as to his future conduct.
