Accrington Stanley have been successful in their appeal against the red card given to Mark Hughes in Tuesday night's 2-0 loss at Hartlepool.
The defender was sent off by referee Richard Clark on the hour mark as he judged that Hughes had denied Padraig Amond a goalscoring opportunity.
He also gave a penalty to Pool for the incident which was initially saved by Elliot Parish but Nicky Deverdics scored as the ball bobbled around the area following the spot kick.
Hughes was cleared by an FA Regulatory Commission and will now be available for Saturday's home clash with Yeovil Town.
