John Coleman knows about the threat of AFC Wimbledon's Ade Akinfenwa but says they won't just be focusing on stopping him.
The powerful striker has a decent record against the Reds but currently leading their scoring charts is Lyle Taylor with 15 goals while Ade Azeez has eight with Akinfenwa on five.
Fourth placed Stanley are desperate to bounce back after their 1-0 loss at Yeovil at eighth placed Wimbledon tomorrow, who are four points behind the Reds but Coleman's men have a game in hand.
This is especially as the Dons beat Stanley 4-3 at the Wham Stadium in October.
“They are a good side, they were very good when they beat us and that defeat is something we will use to motivate ourselves," said Coleman.
“Akinfenwa is a handful and he is a better player than some people give him credit for looking at his appearance.
“But you can't just focus on him as they have three or four really good forwards who sometimes go under the radar with all the focus on Akinfenwa and you do neglect them at your peril.
“We are a good side though as we have proved time and time again this season and we will go there with no fear.”
Coleman doesn't look at it as a ‘six pointer' with the Dons one of around eight teams battling for four play-off spots.
“You only get three points and that's our main focus. We want to try and get to the play-off total as quickly as we can and this year it could be as much as 74 or 75 points which would be unusual.
“It is a close pack but all we can do is worry about ourselves and the most important thing is getting the points on board.
“We have to hope the Yeovil result was just a blip. The performance was good and we didn't deserve to lose but thankfully only Oxford around us won so it wasn't too damaging.
“We got away with it so to speak but we won't get away with it too many times.”
