John Coleman expects his players to face a Yeovil side lifted by a crucial weekend win this evening.
The Glovers beat relegation rivals Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday to climb out of the League Two relegation places.
They're unbeaten in three games despite a season of struggles and the Stanley boss expects confidence to be high.
"It will be a massive lift to them," he said. “They're a good side. I know their manager, he's a good lad and he's taken to the job and put his heart and soul into it and he has turned it around.
“They will be a handful. But I know we can be a handful for any team we play.
"We've just got to hope that we can play better than them on the day and win the game."
It's a first return to Huish Park for the Reds since last season's FA Cup replay defeat that denied them a tie against Manchester United.
Coleman feels that lots has changed since then.
“I think personnel has totally changed for it to be an issue. Maybe it's a chance for Matty Crooks to lay a few ghosts to rest. He'll be getting ribbed about it between now and kick-off time.
"But if somebody had given me the opportunity to win (tonight) last year - to be fighting where we are - I'd have bitten their hands off this time last season.
"Hopefully we can get what we think we deserve."
The players and staff set off this morning for the 500+ mile round trip to Somerset and though Coleman admits it's far from ideal he's looking for no excuses.
“The travelling aspect is something that definitely affects you. It's a lob-sided league, it's a southern league to all intents and purposes.
"That's what probably drains you more than playing games, because that's what they're paid to do.
“I think the travelling to games and spending five or six hours on a coach and then having to do it again on Saturday just stiffens their legs up a little bit.
"But you can go one of two ways, if you don't like it go in the Northern Prem."
