Accrington Stanley kick off their pre-season friendlies with a trip to Skelmersdale tomorrow night (7.45pm).
It's the chance to see the new signings in action for the first time with Stanley adding goalkeepers Aaron Chapman and Elliot Parish to the squad along with Omar Beckles, Bastien Hery, Frazer Shaw, Callam Jones and Steven Hewitt.
Manager John Coleman is expected to field a strong team, with only a limited number of triallists, as he assembles his squad for the 2016/7 League Two campaign.
“We have been away to Portugal for a week which has been a good bonding experience while the players have worked really hard,” said Coleman.
“Skelmersdale will be a good early test for us and we are looking forward to getting back into competitive action.”
Skelmersdale, whose goalkeeper is Stanley's Community Trust Manager Martin Fearon, play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
Prices are £5 adults and £3 concessions.
