We'll get it right: Coley

27 December 2016

John Coleman admits he hopes to secure several transfer targets as he looks to arrest Stanley's slide down the League Two table.

The Reds boss admitted he is scratching his head as to why the players he has at the club haven't won in the league since mid-October.

And he knows next month may be a busy time during the January transfer window as he looks to add to his squad.

"I can't believe this group of players keeps losing to teams who on the day they are better than," said Coleman.

"We are making chances but we are just not taking them and it's my job as manager to iron out the problems and that may mean I bring in more personnel.

“We have got to find a way to win while there is enough time left and there is at the moment.

“We are going to have to work harder, there will be more training sessions, maybe no days off and we will be doing whatever we have to, to make sure we get that win. It will be work, work, work.

“I have got to stick my chest out and not hide. We will back on the training ground and will find a way to get it right.”

Stanley visit 16th placed Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, who are six points ahead of the 22nd placed Reds, and then take on 20th placed Hartlepool at home on January 2nd.
