Stanley have added experienced midfielder Arron Davies to their squad ahead of the start of the new League Two season.
The 32-year-old has penned a one-year deal with one-year option with the Reds after his contract with Exeter City expired.
The Welshman comes to the Wham Stadium with almost 400 career league appearances and can't wait to get started.
“First of all I'm delighted to have signed," said the former Nottingham Forest and Yeovil man. "I played against Accrington twice last season and both times I thought that they were superb and the best footballing team I'd seen.
"I spoke to the gaffer a few weeks back and it progressed from there. I'm delighted to get it done and raring to go.
“No matter what club you are at you have to strive to do the best you can and aim for the top. Everyone will be thinking about promotion at this time of the year and we're no different."
Stanley boss John Coleman is looking forward to the influence that the once capped international can have on and off the field.
“He's experienced and as we have quite a young squad that can help," explained the manager. "He's a talented lad who has played a lot of games in the league and I think we will benefit from his experience.
“We noticed in the summer that people were keen to join us on the basis of what they'd seen from us last season and Arron was one of those. Hopefully we can replicate that this season.”
