Office vacancy at Stanley

Accrington Stanley are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and efficient person to join their administration team.

The club have a vacancy for a full-time Office Administrator and they want to recruit an individual who can use their organisation, communication, IT and data management skills effectively as part of the club's administration team.

This position reports directly to the Managing Director and will support the delivery of the club's administration needs, including but not restricted to:

  • Season ticket and match ticket sales
  • Accurately inputting and retrieving data for season ticket sales, match day ticket reconciliation
  • Reception and telephone duties
  • Match day duties (reception-guest lounge ticket allocations-programme distribution to sellers)
  • Retail  and merchandise shop sales
  • Maintaining and ordering all stationery items
  • Administering the daily postal duties
  • Filing

Full training will be provided.

The person appointed will need to be passionate and committed to the administration needs of Accrington Stanley FC.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public, and in particular, the club's supporters. You will work within a close knit team and be able to multi-task and handle a busy work schedule. You must be a team player and have the ability to use your own initiative with a keen eye for detail.

The post is based at The Wham Stadium, Accrington Stanley FC.

This is a full time position of 35 hours per week, with match day duties as additional hours.

Position:              Club Office Administrator

Employer:           Accrington Stanley Football Club

Responsible to: Managing Director

Salary:                   £13,500 - £14,500 (permanent contract plus pension scheme)

Hours:                   Monday – Friday 9am-5pm plus all home match days/evenings

Issue                     Date: 1st April 2016Deadline:             Noon; Monday 11th April 2016Role Description: To provide administrative duties within the football club, including but not restricted to
  • Season ticket and match ticket sales
  • Accurately inputting and retrieving data for season ticket sales, match day ticket reconciliation
  • Reception and Telephone duties, including customer service enquiries
  • Match Programme distribution (Officials, Directors, Hospitality, Programme Sellers
  • Match Day duties (Reception-Meet & Greet-Guest Lounge Ticket Allocations-Car Park Allocations-Programme distribution to sellers & cash collections)
  • Retail & Merchandise Shop Sales
  • Maintaining and ordering all stationary items
  • Administering the daily external postal duties, including post office delivery
  • Filing

Candidates must be able to demonstrate both team working and the ability to work unsupervised. They should also have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have a full driving license.
