Stanley v Dag & Red

23 October 2015

After a crazy midweek defeat to Wimbledon, Stanley are back at the Wham Stadium tomorrow to tackle Dagenham & Redbridge.

A return to winning ways will be the order of the day for John Coleman's side having taken no points from their previous two outings.[vc_accordion][vc_accordion_tab title="The Opposition"]After a 2014/15 season full of mixed fortunes, Dagenham & Redbridge will be looking to have a far more fruitful campaign this year.

So far the new campaign has been a frustrating one, with the Daggers losing their first six games in all competitions.

Their aim will be to climb away from the wrong end of the League Two table and start to look up rather than down.[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title="Manager"]Wayne Burnett arrived at Dagenham in June 2009 and worked his way up from managing the club's Academy to first team manager in May 2013.

As a player, Burnett lists Leyton Orient, Blackburn Rovers, Plymouth, Bolton, Huddersfield and Grimsby on his CV, playing 314 games in 13 years, before moving into the Conference.

His first job in management was at Fisher Athletic in 2004, winning the Southern League Division One East. He was also manager of Grays Athletic in 2008/ 2009.

[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title="One to Watch"]Now 40, Jamie Cureton is still scoring goals and enjoying his football with Dagenham.

A former England youth international with an eye for goal, his average is one goal in every three games in a 19-year career which has seen him play in all four top flight divisions in the English leagues.

Cureton, who lists 15 clubs on his CV, scored 20 goals in his first season with the Daggers in 2014/15 and has three so far this season - including two in the last four games.

[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title="Form Guide"][vc_text_separator title="Stanley: WLWLL" title_align="separator_align_center" color="juicy_pink"]Stanley have lost their last two games, at Plymouth and at home to Wimbledon in midweek.

Before that the Reds had lost just one in seven and will be keen to return to winning ways and set up another good run.

John Coleman's men are currently eighth in League Two, a point outside the play-off places.[vc_text_separator title="Dag & Red: LWDLD" title_align="separator_align_center" color="juicy_pink"]The Daggers last won a league game in early September but were victorious in the JPT at Stevenage a fortnight ago.

On Tuesday they were denied a victory at York by a late leveller. It finished 2-2.

They're currently kept out of the bottom two by goal difference.[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title="Stanley Team News"]Midfielder Matt Crooks returns after missing Tuesday's defeat through suspension but there are a number of other problems for Coleman.

Defensive numbers have been extremely limited in training with the likes of Adam Buxton, Liam Wakefield, Dean Winnard and Tom Davies all still troubled by illness or injury.

Middlesbrough loanee Brad Halliday is fit and is likely to keep his place.[/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title="Admission Details"]Adults £20
