Loan Watch

6 January 2015

The first weekend of 2015 gave Stanley's loanees one final chance to impress at their temporary homes with their loan moves coming to an end.

George Bowerman certainly did so and signed off in style for Stourbridge, scoring the third goal to put the seal on a comfortable 3-0 win for the Glassmen at home to Witton Albion on Saturday afternoon.

Two days earlier, the Reds had been swatted aside 3-0 by Rushall Olympic but bounced back in style to move within six points of the play-offs.

Defender Liam Goulding had contrasting fortunes in his final game for Belper, playing the full 90 minutes as the Nailers fell to a 3-0 defeat against Rushall Olympic which leaves them at the bottom of the table.

Will Hatfield was scheduled to be in action for FC Halifax Town but, due to the participation of Southport in the FA Cup 3rd round, the Shaymen had a weekend off.

All three players have now returned to the Store First Stadium upon the expiration of their loan deals and will go into contention for a first-team place for the home game with Bury on Friday night.
