Accrington Stanley FC and Keith Brown have decided to terminate their contract by mutual consent with immediate effect.
Club Chairman Peter Marsden said "It is with regret that I announce the leaving of Keith Brown as Academy Manager to allow Keith to pursue a career coaching and managing in adult football. Keith was the architect of one of the greatest Cup performances in the history of Accrington Stanley, the youth team's success against West Ham in the FA Youth Cup. Keith also played a prominent role in the nurturing of Connor Mahoney's talent which subsequently let to Connor's move to Blackburn Rovers. We wish Keith good fortune."
Keith Brown said "I should like to thank the Chairman Peter Marsden for having given me the opportunity at Stanley to develop as a young coach and for his support throughout my time here. It has been a privilege to work with the group of young players and coaches at the football club who have bought in to my ambitions for them. I am proud of their achievements and wish them and the Football Club all the very best for the future."
