Stanley boss John Coleman believes his players should underestimate Carlisle at their peril as he prepares them for what he expects to be a difficult trip to Brunton Park.
The Cumbrian outfit are third from bottom in League Two ahead of the game having won just one of their last five matches.
Despite the way the table looks, Coleman thinks Keith Curle's side will soon be climbing the league after a poor start.
"We've had them watched and I've had a look at a couple of the videos of them and I'm expecting a tough game," he explained. "I know it's a big cliche and everyone says that every game is a tough game but Carlisle have a bit about them, put themselves about and are probably in a false position in the league.
"They'll be as desperate as anybody to get out of that situation so I'm expecting probably the toughest game so far.
"You have to work with what you've got an I think they've had a few bad injuries but they are slowly building a squad there, a squad of good players that we are familiar with."
Carlisle have already beaten Stanley this season, 3-1 in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy back in September, but Coleman hopes his side can cause their opponents problems rather than worry about other factors.
"As I've said as long as I've been managing it's our job to make it a tough game for them too," he said. "We've analysed the opposition and given the lads information on them but we aren't getting too bogged down in it. We have to concentrate on us.
"Since we've come back there's probably only been the Stevenage game that we haven't performed in. What's that? One in nine? You'd take that. We are getting there and we've had to get our philosophies across in a short space of time. The lads have to take a great deal of credit because they've been open to learning and they are trying to produce what we want."
