The Board of Directors of Accrington Stanley is delighted to announce that the club's Academy has passed its EPPP re-audit.
The Academy staff have worked tirelessly since the previous result to implement the recommendations and action points that were required and category three status has now been achieved.
We now look forward to the good work continuing and more talented footballers representing Accrington Stanley at all levels.
"I'd just like to thank all the staff for the hard work and dedication put into achieving this fantastic result,” said Stanley Academy Manager John Townson.
“Credit must also go to our part time coaches who play an invaluable part in the running of an academy. With the fact that we have a family friendly environment and the management and club gives young players opportunities, we are proving to be an excellent place to be if you're a young footballer in the North West.
“We now look forward to maintaining the high standards we've set for ourselves to establish ourselves as one of the North West's leading Category 3 academies".
The Board would like to thank the Academy staff for all their additional hard work and professionalism during the audit.
