Max Hazeldine singled out the belief of the squad as a vital factor in the teams FA Youth Cup progression after an impressive 4-1 win over Bristol City.

“We just stuck together and played quality. I think before the game we believed that we could do it, we stuck together, did what we've done throughout every round and took our chances.”

“We all believe. After getting this far, you believe you can beat anyone, that's what we believed tonight and that's why we came out winners.”

"Asked what it was like being part of the game Hazeldine said it was “nerve wracking at times but once we got the 4^th goal everyone started to relax and play football, you could hear the crowd getting behind you, it's a really good feeling.”

Hazeldine also went on it to describe his personal performance saying “It was quality, it's got to be the best hasn't it. It tops West Ham just for the scoreline and it's always nice to score, especially getting a hat trick. I'm just over the moon and can't wait to play to play Reading at the Madjeski”

Keenan Quansah provided the assist for Stanley's opener and said “I thought it was a great performance. We all worked well as a team, we were tight and compact when we needed to be, we broke on the counter and it worked for us.”

Quansah has recently adapted to playing centre mid saying “I'm normally a centre back but have just started playing centre mid” but he's enjoying his new position, “You get more on the ball, you go forward more and get higher up the pitch.”

Asked about his assist Quansah said “I was just determined to get the ball and I wanted it more than the other guy. He didn't jump, I've seen Max (Hazeldine) and I thought I'd get it in his path.”

Quansah also mentioned his excitement for the 5^th round tie at Reading, saying “I can't describe it, I can't wait.”
