Young Stanley striker Marcus Carver has joined Conference North side Barrow on a month's loan.
The 20-year-old has made eight appearances for the Reds this season, scoring once and spent a similar spell at Halifax earlier in the season.
Stanley boss James Beattie feels it's a great chance for the youth team product to progress.
“It's a great opportunity for him to gain some experience and fitness to give him the chance to come back and stake a claim for a first team place,” he said.
“It would be unfair for us to rely on Marcus at the moment because he is such a young lad and hasn't got lots of experience but there's loads of potential there and he has lots of the attributes that I had as a young player.
“Marcus is wanted there, he'll train with us as normal during the week and then go to Barrow and play rather than having nothing to build up to at the end of the week.”
