All at Accrington Stanley would like to congratulate Luke Joyce on making his 200th appearance for the club.
The 26-year-old, who joined the Reds in 2009, reached the milestone in this afternoon's win over Torquay United and almost capped the landmark with a goal, hitting the post in the first half.
"Joycey's a true professional," said manager James Beattie after the game. "He's one of the first lads whose services I made a beeline to try to secure when I took the job in the summer.
"His wife and his newly born daughter came to the game today and it was a great day for him. He put in a good performance in the centre of the park and he's growing into that captain's leadership role.
"Congratulations to him on the 200th appearance and winning was a great way to mark it."
The club will make a presentation to Luke Joyce to mark the milestone before Tuesday's game with Fleetwood Town.
